MY URBAN TRAIL GROUP HIKES!

We are all about encouraging people to get outdoors and that is exactly why we started our free group hikes! They are a perfect way to meet other like-minded hikers both aspiring and experienced, as well as discovering amazing, accessible walks that you can enjoy whilst we guide you along the way! Come join us for a free family friendly day out!

OUR NEXT GROUP HIKE:

SUNDAY 15th December- ROUTE TBC

Sunday 22nd September, DERWENT RESERVOIR & BACK TOR TIG POINT

When: Meet at 9am for a 9:30am set-off

Where: Meet in the Fairholmes car park (£6 cash or card for all day parking), S330AQ. Cafe and toilets on-site

Difficulty: ‘MODERATE/CHALLENGING’, 6.4 MILES, some steep hills at the beginning but we take our time and definitely worth the views.

Places of interest: Derwent Dam, Back Tor Trig Point, heather filled moorland, stunning views across the Peak District on a clear day (fingers crossed).

Post-hike pub: The Yorkshire Bridge Inn (S33 0AZ)

Dogs: Dogs are allowed but must be on leads due to crossing farmland.

Don't forget your £1 contribution for Mountain Rescue (can pay by card)

Our Previous Hikes!

So far we have had 17 hikes that can range from 15-60 people varying in ages, abilities and including people in groups as well as those on their own. There is nothing better than meeting like-minded people for a great day outdoors!
